WHERE CAN I BUY YOUR ARTWORK?
Generally, my pieces sell out before the paint is even dry! But sometimes, there may be a few left. You can check out what offerings I have over on the STORE page or over at EBAY.

DO YOU SELL PRINTS?
Currently, I'm not offering prints or sketches of my artwork, although this may be changing in the near future.

WHAT MEDIUM DO YOU USE?
I started off working in oils on board, then for a few years I painted in acrylics on canvas sheets, so I'm fully conversant in both.
I now paint exclusively in oil on illustration board.

WHO & WHAT ARE YOU INFLUENCED BY?
Influences come from a wide range of mediums...movies, music, other artists etc.
Movies: The Crow; The Matrix; Bram Stoker's Dracula; Candyman.
Music: The 69 Eyes and Iron Maiden are among my favourites, group wise. Mainly though, I listen to soundtrack scores, of which
Hans Zimmer, James Newton Howard, James Horner and Klaus Badelt are among my favourite composers.
Artists: James O'Barr (the creator of The Crow); Boris Vallejo; Julie Bell; Dorian Cleavenger; Brom; Luis Royo; the TSR artists (Jeff Easley; Fred Fields; Larry Elmore; Keith Parkinson).

WHERE DO YOU GET YOUR IDEAS FROM?
My ideas can really come from anywhere or anything. It might be a piece of music, a movie, a location, another artist, or just a feeling or emotion. Sometimes, a painting starts off as one idea, but it may change as the piece progresses, transforming it into another painting altogether. Which of course, leaves the original concept intact for another painting. So sometimes, I kind of get a 2 for 1 deal, which of course, is always nice :)

I'M AN ASPIRING ARTIST...DO YOU HAVE ANY TIPS?
PRACTICE! PRACTICE! PRACTICE! EVERY DAY! That's the most important thing! Art classes and instructional books are most certainly helpful, but not necessarily essential. Apart from school, I never took an art class in my life. I'm entirely self taught, learning from books, a few TV shows, and some fellow artist friends. Most of all though, plain old trial and error. And PLENTY of practice, of course. EVERY DAY. But it's not just about being able to draw or paint, but equally about being able to SEE. You need to train yourself to see not only what IS there, but also what MIGHT be there, especially if you plan on painting fantasy art. Don't be afraid to let your imagination run wild!
